The 2010 Gallup Poll results are in and Panama is the 15th happiest country in the world.

Looking at data collected across 132 countries, the Gallup Organization based its ratings on surveys of more than 136,000 people in each country. Results showed that while life satisfaction usually rises with income, positive feelings don’t necessarily follow.

Happier countries include Denmark, Finland, Norway, Holland, Costa Rica, Canada, Switzerland, New Zealand, Sweden, Austria, Australia, the United States, Belgium and Brazil, in that order.

The poll was conducted from 2005 to 2006 which was a particularly nice time in Panama.
