A fungus commonly known as rooster eye is generating $4 million in losses for coffee producers in the province of Chiriqui. Heavy and constant rains in the province have helped rooster eye to propagate quickly, and it is estimated that producers will lose an estimated 30,000 quintals of coffee. La Critica reports.
