U.S. Man Jumps from Boquete Prison Roof
Michael Nardella, a 48 year-old U.S. citizen, jumped from the roof of the city of David’s public prison to his death.
He was arrested at his home in the El Frances sector of Boquete and incarcerated in early November, but little more is known at this time. The director of the prison, Ismael Flores, declined to comment, La Prensa reports.
It appears, however, that a Michael Nardella was signed up on an online Boquete community forum and listed his interests as “organic farming, living as a life goal, and learning to live in harmony in an inharmonious time.”
