Ten people were killed this week by either firearm, knife, machete or blunt instrument in Panama. La Critica put together a list: On November 7, Juan Miguel Ramos, age 27, was stabbed 20 times in Valle del Sol, Arraijan District; Borbua Armando Santiago, age 23, was shot twice from a moving car at 10 p.m....

Canal Reservoirs Reach Capacity

The Panama Canal Authority put out an advisory to Canal bank residents that the Gatun and Alajuela Lakes have reached their maximum water capacity. The Authority will be draining some of the water through the Gatun and Madden dams as a preventative measure and have asked canal shore residents to be on alert. A siren...
