Four Cattle Die in Truck Accident
Wednesday afternoon, a cattle truck flipped over near Vacamonte, west of Panama City, leaving four cattle dead and the others running wild.
It was not known at the time of publication whether the surviving cattle were recaptured, only that the owner must removed the deceased cattle from the road. The driver was unharmed.
In somewhat related news, the National Association of Cattle Farmers and the Panamanian government agreed this week to create a commission for the purpose of establishing laws to regulate cattle registry, traffic and theft.
