Most Expensive Suite Reserved for Berlusconi
Panama’s guest of honor this week, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, will be staying in the country’s most expensive hotel suite.
The Sheraton Hotel confirmed that Berlusconi will be the first guest of its newly remodeled presidential suite priced at $1,500 per night. The room has its own kitchen, dining room with seating for 10, private lounge and bathroom with Jacuzzi.
Berlusconi arrives tomorrow night. He is scheduled to attend the presentation the Italian-funded geriatric hospital to be built in Veraguas and is the guest of honor at the inauguration of the construction of the third set of Panama Canal locks on June 30.
South Korean President Lee Myung-bak arrives to Panama today and will stay in another presidential suite across the hall from Berlusconi on the 15th floor.
