The executive branch has created a new telephone line to receive complaints and suggestions from Panamanian citizens and visitors.

The 311 line will be administered by the National Authority for Governmental Innovation.  The line is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Some examples of complaints and suggestions include requesting more police vigilance, fixing streets, broken pipes, lack of street signalization and bad odors coming from contaminated rivers.

Officials will have at least 30 days to respond to calls and complaints can also be logged at www.311.gob.pa. or sent to .
