A Costa Rican woman told Telemetro that Panamanian police took her from her side of the border to a David police station where they forced her to strip and do squats in front of the officers present.

The Panamanian authority’s abuse of power and violation of its neighbor’s sovereignty allegedly took place on June 15, when officials reportedly carried out an operation along the border area in Paso Canoas to confiscate illegally distributed intellectual property.

Jorge Gamboa Corrales, representative of Costa Rica’s Puntarenas province, confirmed that he will bring these transgressions in front of his country’s Parliament, and the woman interviewed said that there were two other Costa Ricans and two Panamanians subjected to the same shameful humiliation.

police abuse should be at the head of the line…….
nothing is of more paramount importance

without this basic security , we have nothing, no freedom, no liberty. no rights…… nothing……
