Copa to Add Flights to Cuba

Panama’s Copa airlines will increase the frequency of flights to Cuba as of July.

The airlines Cuban-based executives confirmed that there will be five daily flight, up from four to satisfy demand, between Panama’s Tocumen International Airport and Cuba’s Jose Marti de La Habana Airport.  Each flight a 124-to-155 passenger capacity, and a round-trip, economy-class ticket can cost about $720.

Founded in 1947, Copa’s fleet includes Beoing 737-700s, Boeing 737-800s and Embraer 190ARs.   The airline recently celebrated its fifteenth anniversary in Cuba where it began operations on June 16, 1995.
