Panama Stuck With Tourism Slogan

Despite reports last year, it appears that Panama has been unable to shake the “It Will Never Leave You” tourism slogan.

One of the campaign’s posters, located outside the Cable & Wireless offices on Via Espana, depicts a young boy, native to Panama, grinning over what appears to be a map of Panama that he just drew in the sand for a glowing foreign couple. Then the slogan, Panama – It Will Never Leave You.

In a promotional television spot, Grammy-winning singer and former Tourism Minister says:

“In Panama, we have so many bird species that we could have air-traffic controllers in the wild.”

Then, a large flock of birds flies over an air-traffic controller in a forest, covering him with bird feces.  Blades looks amusingly over at the soiled controller and says: “Get that man a hat,” before putting on his own explorer’s hat and saying: Panama – It Will Never Leave You.

¡Primero Observen antes de hacer publicidad!
