Metro Bus Drivers Will Come from President’s Hometown
The National Institute of Professional Formation (INADEH) will build a training center with a $3.5 million government credit to capacitate drivers for Panama’s future Metro Bus system.
The center will be located in Sona, President Martinelli’s hometown where he reportedly has a great deal of property. Other public works on the current administration’s agenda for the area are improvements to sewers and roads, expanding entrance and exit roads to four lanes, building a secondary school in Guarumal and an airport in Bahia Honda.
In somewhat related news, former president Mireya Moscosa realized a great number of public works project for her hometown of Pedasi, now a growing tourism and investment destination, during her administration.
