Clandestine Las Tablas Garbage Dumper Found

Mayor Edison Gonzalez of Las Tablas confirmed the surprise capture of a man flagrantly and illegally dumping garbage in an illegal area landfill.

The dump is at the entrance of a side street off the Las Tablas-El Montero route.  It has accumulated trash such as cans, glass, plastic, rubber, cardboard, metal, wood and biomedical waste.

The garbage dumper was given three options:  pay a $200 fine, go to jail or participate in cleaning up the clandestine dump site.

The garbage dumper chose to clean the area although he is not the only one land-filling the site.
