Goat Sucker Hunters Robbed of Film Equipment
Brothers Ben and Joe call themselves The Chupacabra Hunters and have followed the trail of the mythical blood-sucking beast from Lubbock, Texas to Panama. Now they are on the hunt for their stolen film equipment.
The brothers are facing a much fiercer enemy: the son of San Felipe representive Mario Kennedy, whom they are accusing of running off with the money they gave him to recuperate their laptops and documentary film equipment. Word on the street is that the items were stolen out of a Casco Viejo architecture office.
Telemetro reports that The Chupacabra Hunters, tourists in the Casco Viejo neighborhood, say that Kennedy proposed to help for $150 per item. He then disappeared with the $400 Ben and Joe gave him.
The Chupacabra name, which translates as “goat suckers” comes from the creature’s reported habit of attacking and drinking the blood of livestock, especially goats, that subsequently bear small telltale round holes in their necks. In certain cases no matter how well some believe they are camouflaged, sometimes the hunter becomes the hunted.
I’m detecting a “blood-sucking” theme in recent news reports. Could President Martinelli’s reputed blood sucking habits have anything to do with this chupacabra phenomenon?
